Highlight Instead of a coffee at a table, enjoy a cup of matcha green tea at an historic Japanese house, while gazing out at the garden.
Experience content Kenrokuen Shiguretei, originally a holiday villa built on the site of Kenrokuen Garden, stood in front of where the fountain is now until it was dismantled in the early Meiji Period. The house was rebuilt at its current location in 2000. Here, as an alternative to a coffee shop, you can enjoy a serving of matcha green tea with an original fresh sweet or sencha green tea with a dry sweet, while gazing out at the gardens.
