The Naegi Castle Ruins and Gourmet Tour

Nakatsugawa is a beautiful area with townscapes of the old Nakasendo, Mt. Ena, the Kiso River, and more. Nakatsugawa has also been well-known for its Japanese confectionery production since long ago. In autumn, many people visit the area to purchase kurikinton (a sweet made with chestnuts and sweet potatoes). Seasonal dishes are offered in the spring and summer as well.
