Nagoya City Art Museum

An art museum which focuses on art relating to the local area but which also possesses pieces from international artists. Visitors can view School of Paris, Mexican Renaissance, and modern art. The museum also displays works by Amedeo Modigliani and Marc Chagall. The museum is located inside Shirakawa Park, where visitors can view modern sculptures by artists such as Isamu Noguchi. The museum has a library and coffee shop. The museum shop offers original merchandise such as prints of Amedeo Modigliani’s Girl with Pigtails, a piece in the museum’s collection.
