Hakuba Valley
This international mountain resort was the venue for the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics and attracts many people from Japan and abroad for winter sports. The spectacular mountain terrain is covered with abundant, high-quality powder snow, and there are 10 ski resorts in the area. All Hakuba Valley ski resorts are connected by shuttle bus, so you can easily enjoy various resorts during your stay. There are plenty of hot springs and accommodation facilities ideal for longer stays.
