Tomato picking

Gero City has history as a hot spring town, but is also an area of advanced technology that began tomato production early. It’s deep in the mountains, a bit far from the hot springs town, but it’s an environment rich in natural beauty, an area in the embrace of pure, exquisite mother nature, with clean air, rivers, water, and landscapes. The farm, inside this environment, first offered tomato picking to local nursery school students who would use the farm as a rest stop on field trips. Now it’s a tourist spot for those visiting Gero Onsen, and we continue to gain more repeat customers who come from far away each year. This farm is adored by everyone from small children to the elderly. Visitors don’t just pick tomatoes, but also fall in love with their taste. You’ll want to eat a whole crate. We hope to always be a place where you can learn about food while enjoying a healthy, natural experience, as well as tomatoes that will bring great delight as souvenirs from Gero.
