21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art

The 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art is one of Japan’s leading museums where you can not only see, but touch and feel contemporary art. The largest installation is artist Leandro Erlich’s “Swimming Pool”, a much talked about work that allows people to meet each other above and below ground through the pool. Visitors can enter the museum from any direction, and a wide range of gallery areas are open, allowing visitors to view many of the works for free.
